At our airline, the safety and well-being of our youngest passengers is our top priority. We have designed a comprehensive escort program to ensure that minors traveling without an adult reach their destination safely and comfortably.
1. Age Group Categories
Travel conditions strictly vary according to the minor's age at the time of the flight:
Ages 0 to 4 (Infants and Young Children): They are not allowed to travel alone under any circumstances. They same flight and cabin by an adult (over 18 years old) or by their parents/legal guardians.
Ages 5 to 11 (Mandatory Service): The "Unaccompanied Minor" service is mandatory. Airline staff will supervise the child from the check-in counter, during the flight, and until formal handover to the authorized adult at the destination.
Ages 12 to 17 (Optional Service): They are considered "Young Travelers." They may travel alone, but the escort service is available optionally if parents or guardians would like additional peace of mind.
2. Fees and Additional Charges
The escort service carries an additional cost that is added to the price of the airline ticket. This fee covers personalized supervision logistics and the use of special waiting lounges (where available).
Domestic Flights: Fixed fee of $50 USD per segment.
International Flights: Fixed fee of $100 USD per segment.
Note: If two or more siblings travel together on the same booking, only one service fee will be charged.
3. Service Conditions and Restrictions
To guarantee safety, the following operational restrictions apply:
Direct Flights Only: The service is not offered on flights with overnight layovers or connections that require changing airports.
Limited Slots: For safety reasons, we limit the number of unaccompanied minors to a maximum of 5 per flight. It is recommended to book at least 48 hours in advance.
Required Documentation: The "Minor Travel Authorization" form must be completed at the airport, providing the exact details (name, identification, and phone number) of the person dropping off and the person picking up the minor.
4. Responsibilities of Parents or Guardians
At Departure: The adult dropping off the minor must remain at the airport until the flight has departed.
At Arrival: The authorized adult picking up the minor must arrive 30 minutes before the flight's arrival and present a valid official photo ID. Without this document, the minor will not be released.
